Now that fall is here, it’s time to focus on fall flavors like apples, cinnamon, and pumpkin. A warm beverage, like apple cider, is perfect for the cooler weather, don’t you agree? So let’s get to that apple cider recipe!
Apple Cider Recipe:
Ingredients
4 Cups apple cider
1 Teaspoon nutmeg
1/3 Cup sugar
1 Teaspoon cloves
Orange rinds of 2 oranges
Medium apples, sliced

Directions
Heat cider, cinnamon sticks, nutmeg, sugar, and cloves in a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat until hot. Do not boil.
Reduce to low heat, add in orange rinds, cover, and let simmer for about 20 minutes.
Pour mixture through a strainer and into a heat protected pitcher or serving jug.
Serve, complete with apple slices.
