Preparing for Back to School with Fellowes Laminator

I can not believe how fast summer is flying by! In just one month my little guy will be headed off to Kindergarten, oh my! That means our family time with Daddy will come to an end as well (since he’s a teacher). In preparation of back to school, we’ve teamed up with Fellowes to create some awesome project ideas.

First, let me introduce you to Fellowes Saturn2 95 laminator. This is seriously the coolest gadget!! I love how easy it is to use, and the finished product looks amazing.

There are hundreds of ways to use this cool gadget including worksheets, flashcards, and charts for teachers and homeschooling parents. Plus it’s perfect at home for craft projects, photos, and holiday memorabilia. By clicking any of those links it will bring you directly to Fellowes idea center where you can print out pre-made sheets, then laminate them.

I decided to have my little guy create some flash cards of key words he’ll need to know by end of Kindergarten. I then laminated, cut and clipped them together for easy use.

I also laminated several of his pre-k papers that I had been holding onto. I knew I wanted to do something creative with them, and after getting the Fellowes laminator, it clicked! I could preserve these precious moments for years to come.

The process was simple. The Fellowes Saturn2 95 includes a 10 pack of 3mil letter laminating pouches to get me started. I placed my son’s school artwork into the sleeve, then fed it through the laminator. In less than 1 minute I had a beautifully finished product that is durable, and water-resistant!
