Disclosure: We were invited as media for an overnight stay at Nickelodeon Suites Resort to provide an honest review of the property. No additional compensation was received. All opinions are my own, and may differ from yours.
We had such an amazing time at the Sponge Bob Character Breakfast last month that we had to book an overnight stay and enjoy all of the amenities Nickelodeon Suites Resort has to offer.
We surprised the boys with a 2-bedroom Nickelodeon KidSuites, which offered a semi-private kids bedroom with bunkbeds and their own television. You can even upgrade to a themed bedroom with fun Nickelodeon characters like Dora, Sponge Bob, Fairly Odd Parents, Rugrats, or Jimmy Neutron. We decided on a boy themed room and chose the Jimmy Neutron KidSuites.
More about Nickelodeon Suites Resort
Our room also included a private master bedroom with King bed, television, and vanity. The family room donned a pull out sleeper sofa, chair, and large flat screen television. The 2-bedroom KidSuites features a kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and sink. I liked how spacious our 2-bedroom KidSuites was. There was plenty of room for our family of four to relax and enjoy. I also appreciated the kid’s night light and TV speaker system next to each bunkbed.
If you’re looking for a smaller suite, Nickelodeon Suites Resort has a 1-bedroom kitchen suite, which includes a full-sized refrigerator, oven range, dishwasher, and more. Or if you need more space, they can accommodate you in a 3-bedroom KidsSuites, featuring 2 master bedrooms, a semi-private kids room, 2 bathrooms, and full kitchen.
Right outside our door was the Lagoon Pool with zero-depth entry heated pool and large water park with a four-story water tower featuring seven water slides, climbing nets, water jets, and a 400-gallon dump tank that spills water and splashes SLIME during a daily Mass Sliming. Talk about a fun time, this water park is amazing! There were a few sections of the water park that needed some TLC, specifically the flooring. It’s that rubber non-slip floor, which any parent can appreciate, but there were a few sections of missing flooring that needed repair.
Nick Hotel also has a quieter, more secluded pool in another section of the property. The Oasis Pool has a large toddler play area, pool snack bar, splash zone, and a few slides. Life vests and towels are provided for guests at each pool. You can also book a cabana for an additional charge.
The Mall, is the entertainment hub offering an assortment of dining choices, arcade, kids spa, cyberzone, Studio Nick, and 4-D theater. The 4-D theater is an additional charge for an armband where you can watch short movies throughout the day. Studio Nick is included with your stay and offers fun shows like Double Dare and Dora’s Friendship Fiesta.
J even starred in the pre-show entertainment of Double Dare. He had so much fun!
We dined at the Sponge Bob Character breakfast, where hubby was pulled onto the floor to participate in a hula dance. The mall also offers character meet & greet opportunities throughout the day.
There is so much to do at Nick Hotel that you can literally lose track of time. It’s hard not to have a good time there! Overall, we are very pleased with our stay at Nickelodeon Suites Resort and would recommend it for any family visiting Orlando. It’s a great getaway! The kids are still talking about the resort, a month later. They can’t wait to go back. I would recommend arriving in your swim attire, or have it readily available because check in is quite late and will most likely take the full-time before you can check in to your room.
