Last month we shared our amazing press trip to the Universal Orlando Resort, but there was even more fun I’ve yet to share with you all. One of our evening’s was spent at Universal CityWalk’s Hard Rock Cafe & Blue Man Group. While I did mention recently that CityWalk is undergoing a major expansion, these trusted favorites have been a go-to for locals and tourists alike.
We were invited as media to attend this event. No additional compensation was received. All opinions are my own.
Universal CityWalk’s Hard Rock Cafe & Blue Man Group
Our evening kicked off at the BIGGEST Hard Rock Cafe in the world! That’s right Orlando is home to many theme parks, as well as the largest HRC. And because of its size it also holds the most rock ‘n’ roll memorabilia than any other location. However, just because it’s large doesn’t mean you shouldn’t plan ahead. Actually, I recommend calling about their priority seating so you don’t spend too much time waiting for a table, although you could enjoy the fun vibe, awesome music, and memorabilia while you wait. 😉
After our rock’n good meal at Hard Rock Cafe Orlando, we headed next door to the Blue Man Group show. This show is one-of-a kind! It will keep you laughing so much that your mouth will hurt by the end of the show. It really is so much more than the commercials on TV share.
Here are a few highlights of the show:
- Inventive comedy
- Original musical instruments
- A phenomenal live band
- Fun audience interaction
- Multimedia theatrics
They also have an all-new amazing finale show that will get everyone on their feet and shaking their booty. It’s seriously loads of fun! The evening show was a little bit on the late side for our little ones. Our 2-year-old was still awake and enjoying the excitement, however, our 5-year-old fell asleep during the meet and greet following the Blue Man Group show. It was pretty funny!
The entire night was a blast and definitely something to consider whether you’re local or a tourist. Click the links above to learn more about Universal CityWalk, Hard Rock Cafe or Blue Man Group.

It’s been about 8 years since I’ve seen them perform but my whole family absolutely loved it! They were captivating from beginning to end!

The Blue Man kind of creeps me out. However, I have heard the show is great.
We are heading to Orlando in a few months, we might have to check out the HRC while we are there.

LOL that is a little creepy with the blue man behind your sleeping boy! Funny! I’d love to see their show in person.

Right? But it was funny to show him later. He just laughed.
