In case you missed it on the blog’s social media channels, last month the family and I took an end of summer road trip over to Tampa. During our road trip we had the opportunity to test drive the 2015 Mazda6 Grand Touring in Soul Red. In the creation stage, Mazda6 wanted a unique color and no shade of red was good enough, so they engineered a new one with a three-step painting process, creating the luxury Soul Red.
The i-ACTIVESENSE technology in the 2015 Mazda6 is amazing. With features like Blind Spot Monitoring, Forward Obstruction Warning, Lane Departure Warning, and Smart City Brake Support, the Mazda6 is a step above the rest. We really appreciated the BSM feature that alerts the driver with a blinking light in either mirror when a vehicle is in your blind spot.

The SKYACTIV G gasoline engine takes efficiency to a whole new performance level with 40 MPG highway and 28 MPG in the city. The i-ELOOP is a unique regenerative engine braking system that captures energy and re-circulates it to the car’s electrical components. Find out more details about these three great features at mazdausa.com.
Not only does the Mazda6 Grand Touring look luxurious on the outside, but on the inside too!
With the advanced keyless entry, power windows with one-touch auto up/down, Bluetooth-enabled hands-free phone and audio connectivity, 5.8 color touch screen, and TomTom-based navigation with real-time traffic updates, the Mazda6 has you riding in style.
The interior also includes almond leather seats, chrome accents, and red stitching detail, which provides an all-over polished look.
A favorite feature of the boys is always a vehicle with a sunroof. They also called the 2015 Mazda6 the “Lightening McQueen car.”
There’s even plenty of trunk space. It fit 2 large and 1 small suitcase plus all of our beach gear without a problem.
Overall we were very impressed with the cars look, technology, and safety features. I definitely encourage anyone who’s in the market for a new mid-sized car to take the 2015 Mazda6 for a test drive. I’m certain you will be just as impressed. MSRP on the 2015 Mazda6 begins at 21,190.

that’s a really nice looking car, and I love the fuel efficiency. That’s most important to me since I drive at least 500 miles a week, if not more!

Wow girl, that is A LOT of driving!

One of the most important feature is the fuel efficiency of the car!!

As I age, comfort, gas mileage, and easy “vision” spots, are important. Red is an excellent color. Sharp looking vehicle.

When I’m looking for a new car I try not to get to swept up in the fluff. My main concern is quality construction, sturdy feel and comfortable to drive. I don’t need a luxury finish, but I don’t want to feel like I’m driving a bucket of bolts. Then I can worry about added features that will make my life easier. I love the color – even before you mentioned they had it specially formulated. The BSM is pretty cool too.

Oh my goodness, that car is gorgeous. My son would love that for his first car. Of course, he’d have to get through me to get to it if we owned it! =)

I love those blind spot notifiers in the rear view mirrors, they are such a smart feature. Looks like an amazing car. Sadly, our family is a little too big for cars anymore.

I really like that rear a/c vent. My kids are always complaining that they are hot when I’m freezing!

I loved the BSM and the rear a/c vent on this vehicle. On my next car, it will be small features like that along with trunk space and leg room.
