From time to time Disney invites me to very special events where I get to encounter once in a lifetime experiences like interviewing celebrities and being the first to see films before they’re released to the public. This time, I’m excited to announce I’ll be attending a special Orlando event, which happens to be where I live! I’ll be covering the Disneynature Monkey Kingdom film release while staying at All Star Vacation Homes along with fellow blogging friends!
First, let’s talk about this adorable true life Disney film that’s set in the South Asia jungle. Monkey Kingdom showcases a new mom, Maya, a clever and resourceful blonde-bobbed monkey who’s determined to give her son a leg up in the world. When their longtime home at Castle Rock is taken over by powerful neighboring monkeys, Maya’s whole family retreats, and she uses her street smarts and ingenuity to uncover untapped resources amidst strange new creatures and unsettling surroundings. Ultimately, they will all have to work together to reclaim Castle Rock, where Maya can hopefully realize her dreams for her son’s future.
The film is narrated by Tina Fey and includes a rich variety of animals. This is a wonderful family film that’s also educational, while being entertaining. For every movie ticket sold during opening week of #MonkeyKingdom (April 17-23), Disneynature will donate to Conservation International to help protect monkeys and other endangered species.
The Animal Kingdom park at Disney World is the perfect place to celebrate Monkey Kingdom during opening week! So we’ll be attending some special events while there, including a privately guided Wild Africa Trek!! I’m also excited to visit the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival!
As I mentioned above, we’ll be guests of All Star Vacation Homes during our #MonkeyKingdomEvent. These luxury vacation homes are perfect for friends or family who want to stay together in a comfortable environment while visiting Walt Disney World parks in Orlando.
I can not wait to share my animal encounters adventure with all of you! Please follow along April 14-19th on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook with the hashtags #MonkeyKingdomEvent, #DisneySide, and #AllStarVacationHomes!
Oh, and check out these FREE Monkey Kingdom printables!

My husband and I also love staying in vacation homes. Every time we were in Orlando, we stayed at a vacation home from All Star and we were always very satisfied. I hope the Monkey Kingdom will also take place next year!

We love staying in vacation homes and they are definitely worth the money. All Star is a very good company with nice homes but we usually rent directly from the owners.
On the plus side, the Allstar staff is very friendly and helpful.
