I was recently asked by The J.M. Smucker Company to create some unique tips for using a new product and I wanted to share that with all of you.
Last week I shared our upcoming plans for a play date at the park. Kids always work up an appetite when playing, so we shopped at Walmart for snacks like pretzel sticks, Jif To Go Dippers and Smuckers Uncrustables. I also shared my secret tip on keeping the kids busy while shopping so there’s no unruly behavior. Be sure to check out that post if you missed it!
Good for you snacks are a must in our house! But there’s always fun, playful ways to display those snacks and bring a smile to your child’s face. Here’s a fun idea I created using the snacks we purchased. Cute, right?
I made the Smuckers Uncrustables sandwich the center of the flower, pretzel sticks as the petals, string cheese as the stem and the leaves are made of blueberries. The response from the kids was, “Ooh cool! Can I have that?”
If you struggle with getting your kids to eat healthy foods like fruit, consider putting it in a playful way like this. They might be so mesmerized that they eat everything on their plate!
The boys had a blast at the park playground with friends, and of course gobbled up their yummy snacks. After playing a game of football, they were tired and ready to cool off indoors. It was a great time for everyone!
Be sure to stop by Walmart, your Snackation destination, to stock up on go-to summer snack solutions.
