I was invited as media to cover this event. All opinions are my own.
Florida may be having a heat wave for the holidays, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun! ICE! at Gaylord Palms in Orlando, Florida knows how to put on a good show. Explore more than 2 million pounds of hand-carved ice sculptures in their ICE! attraction, or feel the rush when soaring down Alpine Rush snow tubing hills, or check out their brand new show – Cirque Dreams Unwrapped!
More about Cirque Dreams Unwrapped
If you’re familiar with Cirque Du Soleil then you’re in for a treat with this amazing group of talented artists who put on a special show at Gaylord Palms! Witness aerial performances, a really cool balancing act and so much more! There is no additional cost to see the show.
ICE!
Explore the icy temps while walking through rooms of amazing ice sculptures, themed to ‘Twas a Night Before Christmas. You’ll want to dress warm – it’s only 9 degrees in the rooms! I highly recommend gloves or your fingers will surely freeze. Closed toed shoes are must as well! See artists in action working on beautiful ice sculptures, slide down icy slides and just enjoy the amazement of 2 million pounds of ICE!
Now that’s a big rock! 😉 There’s plenty of locations within ICE! to snap fun photos too, so come prepared. Just be forewarned – your smartphones will lose battery quickly when out in the cold temps.
Another attraction you can enjoy is the Alpine Rush snow tubing hills (for an additional cost). This is the only place nearby where you can actually feel like you’re in the snow! Race down these fun slides over and over again. My boys couldn’t get enough of the snow tubes! We also warmed up with coffee and hot cocoa or keeping with the ice theme – enjoy an ice beverage from Mike’s Italian Ice!
New this year is Build A Bear Workshop. Yes your kids can make their own furry friend right at Gaylord Palms ICE! event! My little guy spotted Snoopy from The Peanuts Movie and just had to get it!
You and your family won’t want to miss this Central Florida holiday event! Reserve your tickets today!

What a fun way to celebrate winter in climates where you don’t really get winter! It looks like such a fun time.

ICE! is one of the best Holiday events in town. I recommend it to everyone I know. I’m glad you had as good a time as the Allport family.
