Want to spend the holidays at Universal in Orlando? Head to Universal Orlando Resort where you can experience a whimsical world of Grinchmas throughout Seuss Landing located at Islands of Adventure park. Just look for the big holiday wreath that says Grinchmas and you’ll know you’ve found the right place! As you explore the wintry wonderland snap selfies with the Whos, Meet the Grinch and enjoy a live retelling of Dr. Seuss’s classic holiday tale Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular!
I was invited as media to cover this press event. All opinions are my own.
The show is a must-see when visiting the Universal Orlando Resort! It’s fun for the whole family too! Enjoy music recorded by Mannheim Steamroller, and see the Whos characters come to life. Will the Grinch change his ways? There’s one little Who in Who-ville that’s determined to include him in the holiday festivities. Showtimes vary so check the calendar before heading to the park!
During our visit to Universal Studios we met our favorite friends – the Despicable Me characters; Gru and his girls, plus the evil Vector!
The family and I enjoyed the afternoon fighting bad guys on Men in Black, taking a ride with Spider-Man, and the Transformers. The day wasn’t complete without traveling on the Hogwarts Express train from The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Diagon Alley to Hogsmeade.
We settled into a spot on the streets of Universal Studios for the 5pm Macy’s Holiday Parade where we enjoyed classic favorites, plus 2 new balloons exclusive to Universal Orlando – Tom Turkey Balloonicle and the Holiday Lights Balloon.
While at the parade you can enjoy street performers, live bands, a spectacular tree lighting ceremony with music and a dazzling display of lights too!
Don’t forget to make your way over to the stage for the holiday celebration finale – Mannheim Steamroller live in concert! See the performance on select nights Saturday and Sundays in December!
