We were provided day passes to the waterpark resort in exchange for our honest review.
Whether you’re local to “O-town” and looking for a weekend getaway, or visiting from afar – you won’t want to pass up this amazing waterpark resort! Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites – Waterpark is the place to stay this summer. The newly renovated one, two and three bedroom suites offer plenty of space for you and your guests. There are so many activities to do right on-site, that you may never venture outside the hotel. It’s true!
More about Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites – Waterpark
The $30 million top-to-bottom renovated hotel is located in the heart of Orlando’s tourism district on 24 acres. It’s just one mile from the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, and just a short distance from Universal and SeaWorld parks as well. The 777 suites include free high-speed Internet access, microwaves, mini-fridge, brand new 42″ HDTVs and Bath & Body Works bath amenities in every suite.
Resort amenities include two water parks with 13 slides alongside cozy cabanas and a poolside bar with beverages and dining options. Head indoors to enjoy interactive activities like the 4-D Experience, Laser Challenge, and an Arcade.
We were lucky enough to visit this waterpark resort when it was previously known as Nick Hotel, and were looking forward to seeing the recent updates. The boys couldn’t wait to begin their day at the Lagoon Pool, which is the larger of the two water parks onsite. The zero entry pool offers water play for even the youngest of family members.
The Lagoon Pool also has a putt-putt course, basketball court and toddler splash park in addition to a jetted hot tub.
When you’re ready to cool off, Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites has an indoor marketplace with additional amenities just steps away from either water park. Choose from buffet style dining, pizza and other assorted foods. There’s a gift shop, Arcade and a kids spa too!
You won’t want to miss the Batman Laser Challenge – the boys couldn’t get enough of this fun place! They did a minimum of 30 challenges while trying to beat their high scores. The laser challenge is an action-packed adventure for the whole family.
Experience the 4-D theater with movie favorites like Angry Birds, Rio, and Looney Tunes. Just watch out – you might get sprayed with water! 😉
Finally, treat yourself to Starbucks and Hershey’s Ice Cream at the marketplace. Just look at those big smiles. We spent the rest of the afternoon splashing around in the water before heading home. It was such a great memory to make with my boys, and we look forward to our next visit to Holiday Inn Waterpark Resort.
