If you’re looking for new tasty dishes to serve your family this upcoming school year, or for that next football party, check out this amazingly good Shredded Chicken Nachos recipe below! It’s my husband’s personal favorite. I love how easy it is to make. Just throw a bunch of ingredients in a crockpot, let it simmer, and make the whole house smell amazing. Then generously layer the remaining ingredients and bake for 8 minutes for the perfect dinner or game day appetizer.

McCormick Chicken Taco Seasoning Mix, 1 ozHidden Valley Original Ranch Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix, 1.0 OunceMission Tortilla Chips, Restaurant Style, 13 oz
Directions for shredded chicken:
- In a crock-pot, sprinkle the taco and ranch seasoning packets.
- Place the chicken in next, and top with 8 oz tomato trinity.
- Cook on low for 5-7 hours.
- Once cooked, the chicken will easily shred by using 2 forks to pull apart. It will be tender and juicy.
Directions for sheet pan chicken nachos:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a rimmed sheet pan with foil and spray generously with non-stick cooking spray. Then, spread a layer of tortilla chips on the sheet pan and spoon shredded chicken on top.
Generously sprinkle shredded cheese over nachos, then repeat a second layer of chips, chicken and cheese. Bake in the oven for 8 minutes, or until cheese is melted. Remove from the oven and top with Pace Thick and Chunky Salsa with genuine southwest flavor! Finally, place a dollop of sour cream in the center of the chicken nachos and spread scallions over top. Serve and enjoy!
I told you it was amazing! The shredded chicken nachos along with Campbell’s Chicken Noodle Soup make a hearty meal the whole family will love.
You can find Pace Salsa on the Hispanic food aisle, and Campbell’s with the soups.
