Meet Cat in the Hat and friends during this exclusive breakfast aboard the Carnival Valor. For only $5 per person you can enter the whimsical world of Dr. Suess! Tables are adorned with Cat in the Hat themed decor for this sit down feast.
Your kids will love meeting Thing 1 and Thing 2, Cat in the Hat, and Sam-I-Am during this themed-filled breakfast!

I highly recommend booking this special breakfast on the final day of your cruise. It’s outstanding!
Guy’s Burger Joint
Open from 11am-6pm, grab a tasty roadside burger from Guy’s Burger Joint! Best-selling author, restaurateur and Food Network personality Guy Fieri brings an authentic burger shack feel with his tasty burgers and burger bar.
Everything’s made fresh off the grill to your liking, then head to the toppings bar for an assortment of items to top your favorite burger with – oh and don’t forget a side of fries! They are delicious.
Carnival Cruise Food
Main Seating Lincoln Dining Room
Are you hungry yet? 😉 Let’s continue our Carnival Cruise Foodie Guide! For the duration of your Carnival Cruise, you will have a main dining room for sit down breakfast and dinners. There are two main dining rooms (Lincoln and Washington) aboard the Carnival Valor – both serve the same dishes.
Each evening select from regular menu items, or specials. It was highly suggested by our headwaiter, Gerson, to select from the daily specials. Each day the specials changed and offered a wide variety of choices from pasta to seafood. These meals are included with the cruise and include an appetizer, salad, entree and dessert.
A few of our favorites were the tomato bisque, seafood pasta, and chocolate souffle with ice cream.
Lido Restaurant
Hungry for lunch? Head to the Lido Restaurant for all you can eat buffets. Choose from Mexican, Italian, BBQ, Mongolian Wok, Seafood, Pizza and the Carnival Deli!
The Steakhouse
For an additional cost, make reservations at The Steakhouse. This exclusive dining experience provides top-notch service with outstanding menu selections.
Enjoy an assortment of bread and gourmet appetizer selections, like crab cake. For the main entree choose from premium cuts of beef and fantastic seafood selections, or choose both with the lobster and filet entree. The atmosphere is quiet and inviting. Kids are welcome.
Don’t forget dessert! You’ll enjoy beautifully crafted desserts you won’t find anywhere else on the ship. Adult meals are $35 and kids are $10. The Steakhouse is open for dinner only.
Carnival also offers 24 hour room service! Ready to book a Carnival Cruise? The Carnival Valor is now sailing from Galveston, Texas to the Western Caribbean. Find out more at carnival.com.

There is nothing quite like dining on a cruise ship! The kids breakfast looked really fun. I haven’t been on a cruise since before I had kids. My middle daughter would love it — she’s a total foodie!
