Do you make time for yourself? To be the best mom, wife, and friend, it’s vital that you take a few minutes out of your day to focus on your needs. And trust me, I get mom guilt. It’s a beast, but how can you accomplish anything with that foggy, sleepy brain and energy-deprived body? There’s 24 hours in a day, and some of those minutes are meant just for you. That’s where the BodyBoss Ultimate Body Fitness Guide comes in!
This is a partnered post. All opinions are my own.

Getting Started
Now it’s time to carve out as little as 24 minutes a day for you. Once you start a routine, you’ll find you have more energy (yes, it’s true), you’ll sleep better, and have better memory – plus a killer body!
BodyBoss includes a bonus 4 week pre-training program for beginners, new moms, or anyone who’s been out of the fitness game for awhile. You can do this!
I’d always had great metabolism and genes that allowed me eat what I want without gaining weight. But after baby number 2, those stubborn last few pounds stuck around. That’s when I made the lifestyle change to introduce fitness into my routine, and I’ve never looked back! October celebrates 2 years since beginning my fit mom journey, and I truly feel better than ever! I’ve tried everything from fitcamp to zumba classes, but BodyBoss allows me to workout on my schedule, at home, which I really appreciate.
While I’ve kept up a fitness routine over the last 2 years, I chose to start with the last week of pre-training to transition myself into this HIIT program. I’m SO glad I did because boy was I sore afterwards!
The BodyBoss guide walks you through everything, including a glossary of exercises in the back of the book. It’s really easy to follow, and effective. Each week you’ll start with a HIIT circuit, followed by a recovery session on Tuesdays, another HIIT circuit on Wednesdays, Cardio Thursdays, and a quick Power-Up workout on Fridays. You’ll begin each session with a 4 minute warm-up followed by 6 minutes of stretches (provided in the book). Now you’re ready for 3 rounds of 7 minute circuits (6 minutes on Fridays) and a cool down session at the end.
If you need something more visual to follow, you can opt for the online version of the guide, which comes with interactive animation (GIFs) to guide you through the right form. BodyBoss is also constantly upgrading its online version for its users. Recently, I’ve noticed that they’ve included demo videos that features trainers. So now I can watch the demo and follow along the workouts for Week 1 of the guide! While it’s only available for Week 1 at the moment, I believe we’ll see improvements to the rest of the guide soon! Can’t wait!
I really love the challenges, attention to detail and guided exercises throughout the BodyBoss program. While I’m not finished with the 12 weeks fitness guide, I am already seeing the #BossEffect with most noticeable definition in my tush and toned legs. After the first few week or two, I chose to stop using a timer and focus on completing the exercises and circuits. It was more important for me to complete each round instead of worrying about time constraints. However, if you only have a certain amount of time to carve out of your day, the timer can be beneficial.
Once you get a routine in place, working out becomes second nature and easily fits into your weekly schedule. And if you get off track, it’s okay – just pick up where you left off. Hurricane Irma disrupted our state for a week and I was able to slip right back into my BodyBoss routine.
