Do you love to travel? If you’ve never cruised before, it’s time to book a Carnival cruise! Why, do you ask? The customer service is OUTstanding, you can visit dream destinations, dine at gourmet restaurants, and be entertained the entire time! Our family of four recently visited the Bahamas aboard the Carnival Valor ship and had the most amazing time. It was our youngest son’s first cruise, and our older son was too young to remember his first experience, so it was exciting to see the adventure through their eyes. Read on for details on why you should book your first cruise with Carnival Cruise Line.
5 Reasons to Book a Carnival Cruise
I was invited as media to spend 4 days aboard the Carnival Valor. All opinions are my own.
Carnival Cruises
1 – Deals all the time
Visit carnival.com and you’ll find a dedicated “today’s deal” section at the top. Scroll through each month to see the best deals. Carnival even helps you out with a big red box indicating the lowest prices of the month! Now you can start matching your calendar with the suggested deal dates so you can vacation and save. Who doesn’t love to save money? I highly recommend booking as far out as you can. Prices only go up as you get closer to the busy seasons like spring and summer. And Carnival offers a lowest price guarantee. That means, if you find a better advertised deal within 48 hours of booking, they’ll give you a 110% on board credit for the difference! Cheers to that, right?! Ready to book a Carnival cruise? Get special offers emailed to you. Yep, even more ways to save!
2 – On board entertainment
Carnival has top notch entertainment on their cruises. Enjoy live music, comedy clubs, movie nights, and performances each night you cruise. They offer early evening entertainment geared towards families, and later evening performances for adult only crowds. See some of your favorite bands and performers in 2017 with special Carnival Live cruises. The line-up is incredible including, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Little Big Town, Jeff Foxworthy, and Jay Leno!
We opted for early dining and early show performances so the kids could join us. We laughed our tails off!
3 – It’s fun for the whole family
Carnival cruises offer something for everyone. The cruise ships are huge (the Valor ship was 14 decks) and offer a variety of activities to keep every member of your family entertained. Whether the adults want to relax and unwind in the Serenity adult only retreat or test out their gambling skills at the casino. Want family friendly fun? Find activities like mini golf, swimming and sliding at the main pool, or playing at the video arcade. Your family will have unlimited fun!
Seuss at Sea is aboard all Carnival ships! Make memories with Dr. Seuss themed activities including: character parade, interactive story time, arts and crafts activities, character breakfast featuring their favorite Dr. Seuss friends and more.
4 – Dream destinations
Explore destinations like the Bahamas, Caribbean, Mexico, Alaska, Canada, Hawaii, Panama Canal, Australia and Cuba. Visit the beach or a historical location – it’s up to you! Book shore excursions and try something new like swimming with dolphins, scuba diving, ziplining, wildlife expeditions and more. All excursions are hand selected by Carnival and can be booked ahead of time online or once aboard the ship.
Cruising allows you to see several places in one vacation. It’s a great way to explore areas you’ve always wanted to visit.
5 – Rewards program
Get rewarded when you cruise with Carnival! That’s right – you’ll become a Very Important Fun Person (VIFP) when you book a Carnival cruise and join their loyalty program. Each time you sail, you’ll earn points towards benefits like Priority Check-In and Boarding, “Chocolate Delight” strawberry plate, Cabin Upgrades and much more. It’s completely free to join too!

I am a Travel Agent and I love Carnival Cruise Lines! Booking with a Travel Agent is the same price
as booking online. It’s just you have a Professional working for you to make sure everything comes together, for a great trip! Plus you might end up with a bottle of wine in your cabin as a Welcome aboard gift!! 🙂

Looks like you all had an amazing time! I think I’m going to look into pricing for our family and see when we can go, I know for sure our 5 and 7 year olds would love it! Thanks for sharing!
