Welcome to My Boys and Their Toys! I’m Jennifer, a 30-something mom of 2 sweet boys, and wife to an elementary school Principal. We enjoy sharing our adventures as a family of 4 living in the Orlando, Florida area. We are a Disney-loving family and enjoy visiting all the Central Florida theme parks! I talk about real mom topics, with a passion for living your best life and encouraging others to do the same.
I took a career change once the boys came into the picture, and it’s the best decision I’ve ever made! I’ve been in the blogging world for 12 years and created My Boys and Their Toys in 2012. I can truly say I’m blessed beyond words to be my own boss and be doing what I’m passionate about.
About the Boys
J is 14 and in 9th grade. He is obsessed with all things sports-related, especially football. He’s played flag football for many years and now plays tackle football at his high school. He loves to read, be outdoors, and play with technology. L is 11 and in 6th grade. Boy does he love to talk! He enjoys playing with all sorts of toys from building toys to figures. He’s very interested in STEM and also takes piano lessons, plus has an eye for art and drawing. My “big boy” aka hubby, Nathan, is passionate about education and is a huge sports fan. We love family game nights because we’re very competitive!
The goal for My Boys and Their Toys is to be a place for parents to come to for advice, real talk reviews, movie news, travel inspiration, printables, and family-friendly recipes.
As a professional with 12 years of experience dedicated to reviewing hotels, restaurants, and bars, plus 6 years dedicated to product reviews, I feel confident in saying I’m an expert in my field. My favorite partnerships are those where I build long-term relationships like brand ambassadorships.
