I recently attended a Real Women Real Brides blogger event at the Alfred Angelo Signature Store in Altamonte Springs. The event was coordinated by Lee at My Sentiment Exactlee (far right), who has teamed up with Alfred Angelo for her vow renewal. No two women are alike, and no matter what your shape or size is every bride deserves to feel incredible on her special day. A wedding gown is a big part of that magical experience, and how the Real Women Real Brides MySentimentExactLee Curated Collection came to be.
Before attending the event, each blogger spent some time on the Alfred Angelo site to browse the variety of wedding dresses available. The Disney Fairy Tale Bridal Collection was a popular page for us Orlando bloggers. Kelly from SeaWorldMommy.com and myself were eager to get this dress party started! Below I’m getting laced up by our dress consultant, Jocelyn, who was such a big help to all of us ladies. Kelly and myself are both wearing Disney bridal dresses. She is wearing the “just in” Elsa wedding gown (style 251) from the popular Frozen movie.
Nate and I have been married for 9 years, however I was giddy with excitement to step out in a wedding dress and pose for pictures. The sweetheart shaped neckline is a favorite style of mine. And I couldn’t be happier that this dress is an Ariel Princess wedding gown, she is my favorite Disney princess after all! A twinkling belt adds a majestic look to the layers of organza ruffles that emulate the rippling of waves from the ocean.
I loved this beautiful ball gown! It was a definite favorite of mine and made me feel beautiful.
The next dress that I chose to try on was an elegant strapless satin gown from the Alfred Angelo Signature Dress collection (style 2520). I was a bit nervous to try on this gown because it would leave nothing to hide. Even thinner girls have insecurities too. I married my husband 9 years ago, and since then we’ve had 2 sons, so my body has changed.
I was really surprised that this beautiful gown accentuated my curves in all the right places. I think the fully draped silhouette helped hide those little insecurities I was worried about. It turned out to be my husband’s favorite dress of the three I tried on.
Below I’m posing in style 2520 again with Kelly and Suzannah. Don’t we all look beautiful?
Another favorite was the Cinderella princess gown that Nicole from SparklyEverAfter.com is wearing.
She looked stunning! It was definitely a fairytale gown that looked straight out of the Disney movie. She even shared a short video of her wedding dress experience on youtube.
The final gown I tried on was Alfred Angelo Signature Dress (style 2499). I was of course drawn to the sweetheart bodice, but really loved the dramatic detailing on this dress. The soft net skirt was comfortable and included small beaded detailing to match the bodice. Our dress consultant, Jocelyn, said this was a favorite of hers.
The Real Women Real Brides event was so much fun. It was a night filled with laughter and friendship, and zero judging. We all felt beautiful.

How fun! Those dresses are beautiful.
I remember the excitement, and agony, of trying to find the perfect dress 14 years ago.
