Animal Kingdom Lodge Sanaa Restaurant
Begin your meal with a delicious Indian-style bread service including 3 pita bread flavors and a multitude of dipping sauces ranging from sweet to spicy. While dining at Sanaa, take a peek out of the large restaurant windows where you can spot wildlife like zebras, gazelles, giraffes, and many more animals.
For our next course, we sampled a variety of salads including Chickpeas with Cucumber and Tomato; Watermelon, Cucumber and Fennel; Kachumbari; Mango; or Bhel Puri. Everything was refreshing and flavorful, however, my favorite was the chickpeas salad.
For the main course, we dined on restaurant favorites, Butter Chicken and Seafood Curry – each dish is served with a side of rice too. While I’m a fairly picky person who doesn’t enjoy a lot of spicy food, I found the chicken dish to be really delicious.
I always leave room for dessert. It’s my favorite part of any meal! So when we were presented with a dessert trio, my heart was happy. 🙂 We sampled Tanzanian Chocolate Mousse, Banana Cheesecake, and Seasonal Kulfi. Everything was exquisite! From the presentation to the taste of each dessert option, I was impressed.
This is a kid-friendly restaurant so if you’re concerned the kids will not enjoy dining here, think again. The kid menu includes a variety of options including mixed fruit, soup, chicken breast, pizza, macaroni and cheese, among many other options.
Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at Sanaa from the wonderful service to the delicious food. If you’re interested in a more in-depth dining option, consider booking dinner with an animal specialist. Find all the details about this service at my Animal Kingdom Lodge post.
