Bring home the bacon! Bacon is so well-liked that there’s even a vegetarian version because everyone loves bacon! If you’re a fan, you and your guests will love this all-time favorite recipe: Game Day Bacon Dip.
This post was created in partnership with Winn Dixie. All opinions are my own.
I headed to Winn Dixie to grab my favorite style of bacon, applewood, along with the other ingredients to make my delicious dip.
Back in the kitchen, my mini helper joined in on the crunching action. After I baked my bacon (my favorite method for cooking it) I asked him to break it up into small pieces for our mixer.
Using just 4 ingredients, this Game Day Bacon Dip Recipe is simple and unbelievably hard to resist. It can be paired with raw veggies, chips, pretzel sticks, etc.
I made this over the weekend while watching the NFL Championship games with the family, and found the bowl emptied in no time. Thankfully the recipe calls for quite a bit, so after a quick refill, there was plenty more for everyone to enjoy. To quote my dad, “this stuff is really good.” Let’s just say, he had a hard time walking away from this delicious dip. Even Nate took a 1-minute hiatus from his Nutrisystem diet to enjoy this bacon dip.
Game Day Bacon Dip

Break bacon pieces into small pieces
-
Mix all ingredients and spread mixture into a 1-quart baking dish
-
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes
Recipe Notes
Health concious? Use low fat cream cheese and light sour cream. I used both for this recipe and did not have one complaint on flavor! For a little something extra, top the dip with a small amount of chives.
