As a born and raised Floridian, who’s lived in Central Florida for 30 years, I’ve had the luxury of frequenting a variety of Orlando Florida hotels. My boys and I know the term “staycation” very well as a majority of our summer is spent traveling throughout Florida. The Hyatt Regency Orlando is a luxury resort also located in the heart of Orlando’s tourist district. The four-diamond award-winning guest rooms offer a tranquil place to sleep and relax. The Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress is one of best Orlando hotels because of its location. Close to Walt Disney property this resort offers a beautiful 1,500 acre retreat located on a private lake with an assortment of amenities. Our final Disney parks hotel we recommend is Disney’s Yacht Club. This family-friendly affordable resort provides all Disney amenities like free transportation while being close enough to walk or take a boat ride to Disney’s Epcot. The DoubleTree Hilton Orlando SeaWorld spans 28 acres and underwent many recent renovations. In addition to guest rooms the property expanded to 100,000 square feet of conference space. Universal’s Cabana Bay offers a retro hotel experience. The resort is reminiscent to the 50/60’s era at every turn from the vibrant colors to the furniture choices. You’ll feel like you’ve entered a time warp to a cool time long ago. Orlando Water Park Hotels
The Holiday Inn Resort offers one of the coolest outdoor spots for families. It boasts 2 exclusive water parks on property in addition to 777 2 or 3 bedroom suites. This property was renovated a few years ago, after originally being known as the Nickelodeon Suites Hotel. Additional amenities include a 4-D theater, laser challenge, arcade and dining food court. Our final property in the Best Orlando Hotels round-up is Gaylord Palms Resort. This enchanting upscale resort is located just outside of Orlando. It’s well known for it’s soaring glass atrium which encompasses themed landscapes unique to Florida like the Everglades, St. Augustine and Key West. On-site is the Cypress Springs Water Park as well as an adult only pool. In addition to their annual ICE! event they also host a unique SummerFest event that families love! Other amenities include a luxury spa, multiple restaurants, shopping, and over 400,000 sq feet of meeting space. This is definitely one of the most all-encompassing hotels in the area.
