The Best Time to Visit Disney World in 2019
Be sure to pin the Disney World crowd calendar for safekeeping, or save this page to your favorites to return to when booking your Disney World vacation.
In 2019 several attractions are scheduled to open which may cause an increase in crowds at that particular park, but it doesn’t always mean all four parks will be crowded during those dates.
Opening Attractions at Disney World in 2019
Magic Kingdom
Mickey & Minnie’s Surprise Celebration kicks off mid-January through September
Epcot
International Festival of the Arts begins January 18-Feb 25th
International Flower and Garden Festival is March 6-June 3rd
Hollywood Studios
Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy kicks off in Spring
“Wonderful World of Animation” Nighttime Show debuts in May
Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge is expected to open in late fall

Recommended Dates to Visit Walt Disney World in 2019
January 28-February 8th are often less crowded
April 1-3 is typically after Spring Break season and is less crowded
April 28-May 9th, followed by May 13-22nd are often great times to book a vacation as school is not quite out yet for summer break.
The best month to visit is always September, school is back in session and the crowds are much less.
Oct 1-10th is typically a safe bet as well.
As the holidays approach, depending on the park’s festivities, the crowd’s will pick-up, however, mid-November before Thanksgiving and early December are often quieter.

We are thinking about getting annual passes to Disney in October, since it is such a low traffic month. We live about 40 minutes away from Disney and I have never taken my daughters. We are all so excited to go. I love your chart and will keep it handy.
