Broadway’s Clue Review
A mansion. A murder. A mystery.
Murder and blackmail are on the menu when six mysterious guests assemble at Boddy Manor for a night they’ll never forget! Was it Mrs. Peacock in the study with the knife? Or was it Colonel Mustard in the library with the wrench? Based on the fan-favorite 1985 Paramount Pictures movie and inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, Clue is the ultimate whodunit that will leave you dying of laughter and keep you guessing until the final twist.
The cast delivers strong performances, with standout physical comedy from the actor playing Mr. Green (John Shartzer), whose antics add a layer of joviality to the show. The audience is constantly entertained!
One of the production’s highlights is its set design. The rotating walls and rooms, combined with evocative lighting and atmospheric musical cues, create a creepy and cozy setting, perfectly capturing the essence of a murder mystery.
Broadway’s Clue is a must-see for fans of the original board game and film, as well as anyone looking for a fun, engaging night at the theater. It’s perfect for all audiences.
The show runs approximately 85 minutes with no intermission. The cast is on stage for nearly the entire runtime which is quite impressive.
