Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers Movie Review
About the film: A comeback 30 years in the making, “Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers” catches up with the former Disney Afternoon television stars in modern-day Los Angeles. A hybrid live-action/CG animated action-comedy, the film premieres May 20, 2022, exclusively on Disney+.
At this point in their careers, Chip ‘n Dale have taken separate paths, but when their good pal Monterey Jack (Monty) goes missing, the pair decide it’s time to set aside their differences and work as a team. Through a sequence of events, Chip ‘n Dale find themselves in front of Sweet Pete – a grown-up Peter Pan who turns out to be a villain!
Will the Rescue Rangers get help in finding their friend Monty, and save him in time? You’ll have to watch the movie to find out!
Is Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers Movie for kids?
Absolutely! The movie is rated PG and perfectly fitting for families. If you grew up watching Chip ‘n Dale as a kid – this movie is for you too! There are SO many sweet nostalgic references throughout this entire film that ANY Disney fan will be geeking out over. Actually, any 80’s/90’s kid will love the references because it goes beyond just Disney fandom!
While the film is a mix of CG, animation, and live-action, it all plays out smoothly on the screen. It’s a pretty cool concept.
Although the film is exclusively on Disney +, I wish Disney would consider putting it in theaters because it’s a perfect summer movie to see on the big screen!
