Cheers! Are you planning a girls night in, or holiday gathering? This Cookies and Cream Cocktail recipe with edible shot glasses will be a huge hit! Indulge your sweet tooth with this tasty alcoholic beverage.
Cookies and Cream Cocktail Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 12 ounces white chocolate or white candy melts
- 3/4 cup chocolate cookie wafers, ground in food processor
- 1 1/2 ounces vanilla vodka
- 1 1/2 ounces Godiva chocolate liqueur
- 4 ounces half and half or whole milk
- Wilton shot glass mold
- Whipped topping and cookie crumbs for garnish
Makes 8 servings
Directions for the edible shot glasses:
Steps 1-3: Add white chocolate or candy melts to a microwave safe dish or measuring cup. Melt at 50% power in 30-second intervals until completely melted. Add all but 1 tablespoon of cookie crumbs and stir until incorporated in melted chocolate/candy.
Step 4: Place shot glass mold onto a cutting board and carefully pour melted mixture into each shot glass cavity. You may need to pull the sides out a bit to make pouring easier.
Steps 5-6: Carefully, but firmly tap the cutting board a few times to get rid of any air bubbles. Place in fridge until hardened.
Directions for the cocktail:
Step 1: In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add vanilla vodka, chocolate liqueur, and milk/cream. Shake vigorously.
Step 2: Take shot glass molds from the fridge and carefully pop your candy shot glasses out of the mold and place right side up. Pour cocktail into glasses, top with whipped cream and cookie crumbs, and enjoy!
