As a K’NEX Ambassador I receive some of their newest products each quarter for review. What I love most about K’NEX is that their creative toys offer an educational element to them….without the kids even knowing it! While your kids are busy building with these fun toys, they are learning too.
Today we are sharing our experience with the K’NEX 35 Model Ultimate Building Set. With 475 K’NEX rods and connectors this building set offers endless amounts of creative fun! Build planes, cars, robots, and much more.
With all of the K’NEX building sets, a booklet is included with instructions and examples of what you can make with this set. The first items the boys chose to create were a prop plane and T-Rex dinosaur.
While J and Nate worked on the prop plane, I built this swing set for my little guy’s action figures. He thought that was really neat!
The pieces are fairly easy to connect. Our youngest son, who is three, was able to build smaller creations like a snowflake or sword, but needed our help when constructing the T-Rex. He was thrilled once his dinosaur was ready to play with.

The Cone Mech building set includes 1 zombie figure plus a buildable ConeMech that walks with motorized action, just like in the game! And the Football Mech building set that includes 1 zombie figure plus a buildable Football Mech, also with motorized action.
