D23 Expo Here I Come! Follow the Adventure #D23Expo

This quintessential Disney fan is headed to D23 Expo for the first time! Wondering what D23 Expo is all about? It’s the ultimate Disney fan event for anyone who loves Disney, Marvel, and Pixar! Follow myself along with 24 other bloggers as we fan girl (and guy) this special bi-annual event. Read on for more details!

This bi-annual event provides loyal Disney fans 3 full days of “inside the magic” experiences that can’t be found anywhere else. During the event, I’ll attend special sessions like the Disney Legends Awards Ceremony which will honor Oprah Winfrey, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Stan Lee, Julie Taymor, and other remarkable contributors to the Disney legacy.

I’ll also attend a session for upcoming films at Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar, Hosted by John Lasseter.

Another panel includes Disney, Marvel Studios & Lucasfilm upcoming news. And I will learn about the latest developments at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. There’s a few additional panels I’m excited to share more about in a later post.

Additionally, my 3 day pass offers me exclusive access to the Walt Disney Archives exhibit where hundreds of props, set pieces, photographs, costumes and never-before-seen items will be on display.

Doesn’t D23 Expo sound amazing? Many fans dress up in cosplay or Disneybound in their favorite characters. I’ll be doing a bit of both, so stay tuned to my Twitter and Instagram accounts to follow along. I couldn’t resist making this announcement without a special sneak peek of the fun. Thankfully Bonnie let me out of the Toy Box to join the fun – Yee-haw! 😉

DuckTales – Woohoo! #DuckTales

Remember the Ducktales series from your childhood? It’s returning this summer with a whole new series for the next generation! My littlest has been non-stop talking about it for months. He’s counting down the days!

In addition to taking a swim in Scrooge McDuck’s Money Bin, I’ll also screen the first episode, and have a Q&A session with Executive Producer Matt Youngberg and Co-Producer / Story Editor Francisco Angones.

Summer of Heroes #SummerofHeroes #DisneyLand

In my free time, I’ll be hanging out at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park to celebrate the “Summer of Heroes.” The one and only time I visited Disney California Adventure Park was 5 years ago, so I can’t wait to return. I have Disney World in my backyard (practically) so it’s nice to experience a different park with fellow Disney fans!
