About the film: In “DC League of Super–Pets,” Krypto the Super-Dog and Superman are inseparable best friends, sharing the same superpowers and fighting crime in Metropolis side by side. When Superman and the rest of the Justice League are kidnapped, Krypto must convince a rag-tag shelter pack—Ace the hound, PB the potbellied pig, Merton the turtle and Chip the squirrel—to master their own newfound powers and help him rescue the superheroes.
Make sure to stay post credits for a small end scene.

Is DC League of Super Pets for kids?
Let’s talk about the elephant in the room. The film is rated PG, but that’s pushing it, in my opinion. Yes, the film is animated and includes adorable pets, but DC League of Super Pets has – I counted – three bleeps and one music transition from super pets saying a bad word. I heard a few gasps by the second and certainly the third bleep. You won’t hear the word, but older kids may be able to pick up on what the turtle or kitten was implying.
There are several inside jokes to keep adults laughing and entertained as well. DC Super Pets is a funny film with a lot of heart. I would expect nothing less from the comic duo Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart, who voice pets in the film.
It has some good messages in there like teaching kids to work as a team, never give up, and everyone has the ability to adapt and change.
I would recommend the film for kids ages 10 and up.
