This 2021 Walt Disney Studios preview includes films, shorts, and series from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, LucasFilm as well as 20th Century Fox (which Disney purchased in 2019). Official trailers are included and others will be added once available. Here is the Disney movies 2021 line-up in order.
WandaVision (Marvel Studios) 1/15/21
Marvel Studios presents “WandaVision,” a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) – two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives-begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems. The new series debuts exclusively on Disney+ beginning January 15, 2021.
Pixar Popcorn (Pixar) 1/22/21
Pixar Animation Studios’ “Pixar Popcorn” is a collection of mini shorts featuring Pixar characters in all-new, bite-size stories created by Pixar’s talented animators. “Pixar Popcorn” comes to Disney+ in January 2021.
Flora & Ulysses (Walt Disney Studios) 2/19/21
Disney’s “Flora & Ulysses” is a delightful comedy-adventure based on the Newberry Award-winning book about 10-year old Flora, an avid comic book fan and a self-avowed cynic, whose parents have recently separated. After rescuing a squirrel she names Ulysses, Flora is amazed to discover he possesses unique superhero powers which take them on an adventure of humorous complications that ultimately change Flora’s life–and her outlook–forever. Raya and the Last Dragon (Disney Animation) 3/5/21
Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Raya and the Last Dragon” travels to the fantasy world of Kumandra, where humans and dragons lived together long ago in harmony. But when an evil force threatened the land, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Now, 500 years later, that same evil has returned and it’s up to a lone warrior, Raya, to track down the legendary last dragon to restore the fractured land and its divided people. However, along her journey, she’ll learn that it’ll take more than a dragon to save the world—it’s going to take trust and teamwork as well. Theatrical release and Disney+ with premier access this March!

The King’s Man (20th Century) 3/12/21 Now Dec 22nd
As a collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds gather to plot a war to wipe out millions, one man must race against time to stop them. Discover the origins of the very first independent intelligence agency in “The King’s Man.” In theaters this December!

Spring Disney Movies 2021
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (Marvel Studios) 3/19/21
Marvel Studios’ “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson aka The Falcon, and Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier. The pair, who came together in the final moments of “Avengers: Endgame,” team up on a global adventure that tests their abilities—and their patience. The six-episode series debuts on Disney+ this March!

No current information is available for this film which releases in theaters this April.
Ron’s Gone Wrong (20th Century) 4/23/21
Twentieth Century Studios and Locksmith Animation’s “Ron’s Gone Wrong” is the story of Barney, a socially awkward middle-schooler and Ron, his new walking, talking, digitally-connected device, which is
supposed to be his ‘Best Friend out of the Box.’ Ron’s hilarious malfunctions set against the backdrop of the social media age, launch them into an action-packed journey in which boy and robot come to terms with the wonderful messiness of true friendship. The animated comedy releases in theaters this April!
Black Widow (Marvel Studios) 5/7/21 New date: July 9th
In Marvel Studios’ action-packed spy thriller “Black Widow,” Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger. In theaters and on Disney+!

Free Guy (20th Century) 5/21/21 Now Aug 13th
In Twentieth Century Studios’ epic adventure-comedy “Free Guy,” a bank teller who discovers he is actually a background player in an open-world video game, decides to become the hero of his own story…one he rewrites himself. Now in a world where there are no limits, he is determined to be the guy who saves his world his way…before it is too late. In theaters this August!

Cruella (Disney Live Action) 5/28/21
Academy Award® winner Emma Stone (“La La Land”) stars in Disney’s “Cruella,” an all-new live-action feature film about the rebellious early days of one of cinemas most notorious – and notoriously fashionable – villains, the legendary Cruella de Vil. “Cruella,” which is set in 1970s London amidst the punk rock revolution, follows a young grifter named Estella, a clever and creative girl determined to make a name for herself with her designs. She befriends a pair of young thieves who appreciate her appetite for mischief, and together they are able to build a life for themselves on the London streets. Loki (Marvel Studios) May 21 Now set for June 11th
Marvel Studios’ “Loki” is live-action series set to debut on Disney+ in June 2021, featuring the God of Mischief as he steps out of his brother’s shadow in a new series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.”

Summer Disney Movies 2021
Luca (Pixar) 6/18/21
Set in a beautiful seaside town on the Italian Riviera, Disney and Pixar’s original feature film “Luca” is a coming-of-age story about one young boy experiencing an unforgettable summer filled with gelato, pasta, and endless scooter rides. Luca shares these adventures with his newfound best friend, but all the fun is threatened by a deeply-held secret: they are sea monsters from another world just below the water’s surface. Jungle Cruise (Disney Live Action) 7/30/21

From 20th Century Studios and New Regency, Ben Affleck (“Gone Girl”) and Ana de Armas (“Knives Out”) star in the psychological thriller “Deep Water” from director Adrian Lyne (“Fatal Attraction,” “Indecent Proposal”). The Beatles Get Back (Walt Disney Studios) 8/27/21
Acclaimed filmmaker Peter Jackson’s “The Beatles: Get Back” is a unique cinematic experience that takes audiences back in time to The Beatles’ intimate recording sessions during a pivotal moment in music history. The film showcases the warmth, camaraderie and creative genius that defined the legacy of the iconic foursome. Shot in January 1969 and compiled from over 60 hours of unseen footage (filmed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg) and more than 150 hours of unheard audio, all of which has been brilliantly restored, “The Beatles: Get Back” is the story of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr as they plan their first live show in over two years and charts the writing and rehearsing of 14 new songs, originally intended for release on an accompanying live album. The film features – for the first time in its entirety – The Beatles’ last live performance as a group, the unforgettable rooftop concert on London’s Savile Row as well as other songs and classic compositions featured on the band’s final two albums, Abbey Road and Let It Be. Dug Days, a new series featuring the beloved dog Dug from the film Up, premieres on Disney+ in fall 2021.
Death on the Nile (20th Century) 9/17/21 Now Feb 11, 2022
Based on the 1937 novel by Agatha Christie, “Death on the Nile” is a daring mystery-thriller directed by Kenneth Branagh about the emotional chaos and deadly consequences triggered by obsessive love. Belgian sleuth Hercule Poirot’s Egyptian vacation aboard a glamorous river steamer turns into a terrifying search for a murderer when a picture-perfect couple’s idyllic honeymoon is tragically cut short. Encanto (Disney Animation) 11/24/21

Ms. Marvel (Marvel Studios) TBD
Marvel Studios’ “Ms. Marvel,” launching on Disney+ in late 2021, is a new series that introduces Kamala Khan—a 16-year-old Pakistani-American growing up in Jersey City. A great student, an avid gamer and a
voracious fan-fiction scribe, she has a special affinity for superheroes, particularly Captain Marvel. But Kamala struggles to fit in at home and at school—that is, until she gets super powers like the heroes she’s always looked up to. Life is easier with super powers, right? On Disney+ late 2021!

Hawkeye (Marvel Studios) TBD
Marvel Studios’ “Hawkeye” stars Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, who teams up with another well-known archer from the Marvel comics, Kate Bishop, played by Hailee Steinfeld. It debuts on Disney+ later this year.
The Book of Boba Fett (LucasFilm) Dec. 2021
Boba Fett’s journey will continue in “The Book of Boba Fett,” which will be set within the timeline of “The Mandalorian” and star Temuera Morrison as the titular bounty hunter, along with Ming-Na Wen as Fennec
Shand. See it on Disney+ this December!
Diary of a Wimpy Kid TBD
The film will release on Disney+ sometime later this year.
Everybody’s Talking About Jamie (20th Century) TBD
Inspired by true events, New Regency’s and Film4’s “Everybody’s Talking About Jamie” is the film adaptation of the hit musical that tells the story of 16-year-old Jamie New, who dreams of becoming a drag queen. In theaters later this year.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch (LucasFilm) TBD
