Disneynature celebrates 10 years since its first feature film hit theaters! Disneynature Penguins is an adorable, heartwarming film that allows animal lovers to take a peek inside their world. The boys and I had the opportunity to see the film a few days early, and just loved it!
I was invited as media to cover this event. All opinions are my own.
Disneynature Penguins
Narrated by Ed Helms (“The Office,” “The Hangover” trilogy,”The Daily Show with John Stewart”), Disneynature’s all-new feature film “Penguins” is a coming-of-age story about an Adélie penguin named Steve who joins millions of fellow males in the icy Antarctic spring on a quest to build a suitable nest, find a life partner and start a family. None of it comes easily for him, especially considering he’s targeted by everything from killer whales to leopard seals, who unapologetically threaten his happily ever after.
How you can make a difference:
Disneynature was launched to bring the world’s top nature filmmakers together to capture a variety of wildlife subjects and stories. “Penguins” continues Disneynature’s conservation tradition: for every ticket sold opening week (April 17-23, 2019), Disneynature will make a donation to the Wildlife Conservation Network (WCN) to help protect penguins across the southern hemisphere.
Disneynature Penguins is beautifully created. The opening scene almost looks too unbelievable to be real. As the story unfolds, you’re taken on an adventure that’s educational, entertaining, and comical. Steve’s journey is quite eye-opening and just a treasure to be a part of! Your family will love this film!
