DIY Angry Birds Craft Paper Bags
Find the easy to follow directions and printable Angry Birds templates below!
List of Supplies:
- Colored craft paper
- Craft glue
- Sharpie
- Pencil
- Scissors
Step 1: Select craft papers for each of the Angry Birds’ characters. Let’s start our craft with Red. Cut a red-colored craft paper to 6×9 inches.
Step 2: Fold the paper in half lengthwise to meet the 2 sides.
Step 3: Fold up 2 inches of the paper from either open end.
Step 4: Open the folded part from the bottom middle and flatten the sides as neatly as possible. This will form 2 triangles on both sides.
Step 5: Fold the top pointy end of the flap halfway towards the inside.
Step 6: Similarly, fold the bottom towards the inside and overlap it. Apply glue to the folded parts. It will look like the bottom of a paper bag.
Step 7: Use scissors to cut the top open end of the paper bag into a semicircular shape (this will be the top of the Angry Bird’s head).
Step 8: Trace and cut out the included templates for Red.
Step 9: Glue the hair on the top open end of the paper bag.
Step 10: Glue the cutouts to the front of the bag to complete the Angry Bird craft.
Repeat these steps to craft the rest of the Angry Birds characters.
Don’t worry – we have a visual for all the steps in the downloadable PDF below!
Tip: If you’d prefer to skip the DIY bags and purchase them, here are some colored paper bags. Simply print out the templates below and glue the cutouts to the bags for an even easier craft option!
