DIY Pumpkin Place Card Holders
What you’ll need:
- Artificial Mini Pumpkins
- Spray Paint
- Glitter Glue
- Painters Tape
- Cardstock Paper
Step 1 – Prep your pumpkins
I recommend working on the pumpkins that you plan to spray paint first because they need time to dry. First, use painter’s tape to protect the part of your pumpkin you do not want paint on. We chose to do half and half on one pumpkin and a drip design on another.
Step 2 – Design
While your painted pumpkins dry, use glitter glue to design your other pumpkin place card holders. Staying with the fall hues, we chose gold and red glitter glue.
The boys love crafting! My little one was having a bit of trouble squeezing out the glitter glue, so mama guided him with his design.
Once the paint has dried, you’re ready to design the remaining pumpkins. This is the time to be really creative with your pumpkin place card holders!
Step 3 – Place Cards
Using cardstock, make a design for each place card – don’t forget to add everyone’s name! Then, make a cut in the stem of your artificial pumpkin to hold the place cards.
Voila! You have beautiful personalized place cards for your table. They also make great take-home gifts for your guests! If you don’t want to assign your guests seats, add these pumpkin place card holders on a table with other must-haves, like beverages and silverware. Guests can pick up their place cards and select a seat of their choice.
