Easy Banana Pancakes Recipe
Measurements with easy to follow printable directions are at the bottom of this post.
Pancake Ingredients:
banana
unsweetened applesauce
baking powder
Vanilla Premier Protein (that’s 45 grams of protein!)
cinnamon
For the Pan Fried Cinnamon Bananas
banana
sugar
cinnamon
nutmeg
Directions:
- Add the banana to a blender, and blend on low until chunky.
- Add the remaining pancake ingredients and blend until smooth.
- Heat a griddle/skillet on medium-low and spray with non-stick spray.
- Scoop 1/4 of batter for medium sized pancakes and place on the griddle.
- Because it’s made with bananas, it does not bubble like traditional pancakes. Wait approximately 2-3 minutes, flip and repeat.
Recipe will yield 4-5 medium pancakes. The banana pancakes taste incredible plain, or with toppings. I recommend the pan-fried cinnamon bananas on top or try topping them with a few walnuts for a banana bread flavor.
For the Pan Fried Cinnamon Bananas
- Slice bananas.
- In a bowl, mix remaining ingredients.
- Spray griddle/skillet with cooking spray and keep on medium-low heat.
- Place bananas on griddle and top with some of the mixture. Cook for 2-3 minutes, flip, sprinkle, and repeat.
