Easy Cod Fish Recipe
Using fresh ingredients, this easy fish recipe is a family favorite. We recommend pairing it with steamed veggies. Both the cod fish and veggies can be cooked in the same pan making cleanup a breeze!

Ingredients:
2 (5oz) cod fillets
Olive oil
Kosher salt
Ground pepper
Fresh thyme
2 tbsp butter, unsalted
Lemon wedges

Directions:
- Drizzle olive oil on the fresh fish, sprinkle with salt, pepper, and fresh thyme, pat seasonings onto cod, and repeat on the other side.
- In skillet, melt butter over medium heat, add the fillet, after 1-minute spoon butter over top of fish, cook for 4-5 minutes on the first side, flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes, you want each side a nice golden brown.
- Serve immediately with a lemon wedge, and a side dish such as salad, or steamed veggies.
Tip: Cod should be flakey and moist. If your cod is tough or rubbery, that means you’ve overcooked it.
