A few years ago my husband and I were vacationing in Vegas, while there we had the opportunity to dine at Piero’s Italian Restaurant. The restaurant has seen the likes of celebrities from Michael Jordan to Justin Timberlake, and offers a 5 star dining experience. Our meal was perfection to say the least, including an unforgettable creamed corn recipe that Piero’s is known for.
During Thanksgiving at my dad’s this year, my step-moms corn casserole brought me right back to that moment at Piero’s. It was that good! When she shared how simple it was to make, I just had to recreate it for all of you. Viking sent me this beautiful stainless steel casserole pan and I couldn’t pass up making the corn casserole in this stunning pan!
Corn Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cans whole kernel corn
- 1 can sweet cream style corn
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 8.5 oz box corn bread mix
Directions:
Combine all ingredients, mix well. Bake casserole at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes, serve and enjoy!
Doesn’t that sound delicious? It’s so easy to make too! And a great side dish for practically any occasion.
I can’t say enough good things about the Viking 3-ply 6.4 qt casserole pan. It not only looks fantastic with a mirror finish, but cooks evenly too. The pan is large enough to cook an array of dishes from chili’s to sauces and casseroles. The Viking pan is dishwasher, broiler and oven safe (up to 600 F). Stainless steel pans are very durable, but you want to make them last by cleaning them properly. Here’s a few easy solutions for cleaning stainless steel pots.
Do you have a favorite casserole dish you enjoy making?
