Craving a sweet with a crunch? You’ll love this easy homemade toffee recipe! We’ve mixed milk and white chocolate chips to create this tasty treat. You’ll only need a few ingredients, and less than 30 minutes to make this marbled toffee dessert.
Easy Homemade Toffee Recipe
Marbled Toffee Ingredients:
- 2 sticks unsalted butter
- 1 ¼ cup sugar
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 ½ cup chocolate chips
- 1 ½ cup white chocolate chips
- Sprinkles of choice
Toffee Recipe Directions:

Melt together butter, sugar, and water over medium-high heat until bubbly and liquid, stirring frequently for 8-10 minutes. When it begins to turn a light caramel color, remove from heat and whisk in vanilla.(If you have a candy thermometer, you can remove from heat as soon as it reaches 260 degrees)

While your toffee is cooking, generously butter a square 8×8 inch pan. (This needs to be butter and NOT nonstick spray)

Pour toffee into your pan, and top with generous alternating rows of chocolate chips and white chocolate chips.

Let sit 5 minutes, and when chocolate begins to look shiny, spread it out all over with a spatula until you have a marbled look that you like.

Refrigerate for 15 minutes, or let sit for 2 hours to cool and harden.
- Break/cut apart and serve as you prefer.
