Paper Flowers Craft Directions:
Step (1)
Select a piece of white stationery paper for the canvas. Make sure the size of the canvas is relatively larger than the template items. Trace the grass pattern on green craft paper and cut out the traced pattern. Cut a straight slit along the middle part of the grass pattern, lengthwise. Next, apply glue along the sides and the bottom part of the grass cut out. Keep the top end glue free.
Step (2)
Carefully place the glued side on the canvas, making sure that the bottom ends of both the grass and the canvas are leveled.
Step (3)
Select different colored craft papers for the flowers, stem, leaf, and butterfly. Trace the flower patterns or create your own custom flower patterns. Cut out the traced patterns. Then, use sharpie or gel pens to add some simple patterns to the flowers.
Step (4)
Prepare stems for each flower. Attach the flowers to the top end of the stem.
Step (5)
For the butterflies use any colored craft paper you’d like. Glue the body part on the middle of both wings. Cut out a strip from white stationary paper (same as the canvas). Attach the butterfly on the top end of the white strip.
Step (6)
It’s time to create the paper flowers garden! Simply insert the bottom end of the stems through the slit in the grass. You may also insert the stems through the top open side of the grass.

I remember making stuff like this when I was a little girl. It is surly spring here in Florida, now that it is warming up and into the 80’s next week. I would love to make this with my daughters. 🙂
