While covering the press event for Monkey Kingdom last week, we had some opportunity to unwind and enjoy a full day at the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. Every spring the park puts on a beautiful display of character topiaries, dazzling gardens, and fresh season dishes. The Epcot Flower and Garden Festival is an event for all ages!
Check out this Inside Out garden which expresses moods of all kinds. The movie hits theaters June 19th!

The Backyard Habitat is the perfect place to enjoy beautiful blooms and butterflies too! There’s team members or signage at each location to provide you detailed information about the flower displays. It’s really a great way for families to get more involved in outside activities, and encourages inspiration to create your own home gardens.
Want to be a butterfly hero? Pledge to help the Monarch butterfly and receive a butterfly garden starter kit (while supplies last) for free! It’s quick to sign up!

Need to cool off for a bit? Stop by the Festival Center for some indoor activities, including insect encounters, shopping, and live demos.
Take in the beautiful topiary displays scattered throughout the park like Mike & Sulley’s Monstrous Garden at the Imagination Walkway. As the sun sets, watch the Disney topiaries glow with light!
Savor the taste of spring with season dishes and beverages while walking around the Epcot countries. I had the opportunity to taste a few of the authentic dishes at the outdoor kitchens. I recommend the Pineapple soft-serve with macadamia nut flavored rum, if you like alcoholic beverages.
I couldn’t get enough of the Manicotti at Italy’s station. It was simply delicious!

But that’s not all! Stop by the Garden Rocks area for live entertainment! Jon Secada is performing through April 22nd. The musical act The Guess Who will be there April 24-26 with other acts performing through May 17th. Grab the full list of artists here.
Jon Secada rocked it out with an amazing performance at Epcot’s Rock Garden. Here is he singing “Just Another Day”:
Don’t forget to end your evening at Epcot to watch the incredible IllumiNations fireworks show!
