Escape to Margaritaville Musical
Escape to Margaritaville is a Broadway show musical comedy featuring both original songs and your most-loved Jimmy Buffett classics, including “Fins,” “Volcano,” “Cheeseburger in Paradise” and many more.
Our thoughts:
The Jimmy Buffett musical was lighthearted and fun – just what you’d expect from the talented singer/songwriter. Although he’s not the show’s creator, the musical is based on a book by Greg Garcia and Mike O’Malley and features music and lyrics by the musician. The show followed that storytelling feel that Buffett songs have, and of course, featured a lot of Hawaiian shirts during the performance. Oh, and look out for the beach balls at the end of the show for some added fun! If you’re in need of a vacation, but can’t get away – this musical is just what the doctor ordered!
