Monster Jam’s 2019 Season kicked off with a bang! L and I headed to Monster Jam headquarters here in Florida for an exclusive tour of the garage. We learned how the company builds the monster trucks – including hands-on demos, then stuck around for the Livestream where they revealed the brand new Fire & Ice Monster Trucks to fans everywhere! Check out the recap video included in the post for all the details.
I was invited as media to cover this event. All opinions are my own.
An Exclusive Tour of Monster Jam Headquarters!
Inside the 52,000 square foot facility, Monster Jam builds and maintains 12,000 lb. Monster Jam trucks. Our tour included meet-and-greets with Monster Jam drivers, including Adam Anderson (Grave Digger), under the hood access to the trucks with live demos, and a first look at the new Monster Jam trucks competing!
Watch this recap video of the Monster Jam tour:
Feld Entertainment, who is the worldwide leader in live touring family entertainment, and the Monster Jam crew went above and beyond to make my little guy feel so special. Highlights from the video tour include L being the first kid ever to paint on Grave Digger’s truck to receiving an autographed part of his crashed truck! He was also invited to use a bit of elbow grease to fasten one of Zombie’s hands together and autograph it too. Afterward, he told me he had the “best day ever.” He was beaming ear to ear telling all his friends and family about his special day at Monster Jam’s garage!
As part of the tour, we were able to step inside one of Monster Jam’s touring trailers. Did you know they can actually fit TWO monster trucks inside? They also fit extra tires and all sorts of tools that are needed for the tour.
We were then invited on a special Grave Digger ride outside the facility. That was a lot of fun!
Just Revealed! Fire & Ice Trucks!
We were also there for the Monster Jam Livestream where they announced information about the 2019 tour, beginning in January at Camping World Stadium in Orlando! As well as an up-close look at the brand new Fire & Ice trucks!
