Can you tell I enjoy attending Disney press events? 🙂 If you’ve followed my coverage over the last few weeks, then you’ve seen some really awesome experiences we encountered during the Monkey Kingdom event. Some of my favorite adventures included Epcot Flower and Garden Festival and Safari Wild Africa Trek. Those are two events I believe every Disney fan must try!
Today, I’m sharing another fun experience at Epcot. Did you know Disney has the 2nd largest salt water aquarium in the world? It’s located in Epcot at the Living Seas! Below are few interesting sea life friends you can expect to see during a visit to this amazing aquarium.
Doesn’t that upside jellyfish look pretty cool? Other exciting encounters include live dolphin training – it’s held 7 days a week, 3 times a day! This is definitely an experience I recommend checking out. I recorded a portion of the dolphin training in action:
Living Seas fun facts:
- Epcot’s salt water tank holds 5.7 gallons – it’s the 2nd largest in the world!
- You can find over 1200 animals inside
- There are 42 different specials of animals
I snapped these pictures during a tour of the Living Seas. My iPhone didn’t do so hot with these pics, but I still wanted to share them with all of you.
Be sure to take a smooth ride in Living with the Land next. This informative boat ride shows you incredible improvements Disney is making with agriculture. There you’ll see wild things like peanut butter trees, oversized fruits and veggies, and much more. I’ve been on the ride several times – it’s pretty neat! Hungry for more? Check out the Behind the Seeds tour. Plus enjoy tasty foods at Sunshine Seasons, where there’s a variety of food options for every member of the family. Don’t forget to ride Soarin’ before you leave! It’s one of the coolest rides at Epcot!
What else can you find at Epcot’s Living Seas? Nemo & Friends! Enjoy a ride, explore “fins-on” activities and much more. Just don’t let Bruce get you!
Have you had a chance to take the family to Monkey Kingdom? It’s in theaters now! Explore the world of the Macaque monkeys in their South Asia habitat. Watch a beautiful and empowering story unfold before your eyes. It’s a great film for the whole family!

Did you find the Hidden Mickeys in my post? There are two of them! 🙂

Thanks for sharing! As many times that I have been to Disney and even worked at Disney I didn’t know that about Epcot! Next time we go to Florida I definitely want to go to Epcot!
