One of our all-time favorite films is Disney’s Frozen. It became the highest-grossing animated film of all time! There are not many movies that keep that kind of sustainability at the box office, so that’s quite an accomplishment. Because the family and I enjoyed the film so much, I decided to host a Disney’s FROZEN play date party!
Frozen Play Date Party Ideas
I shopped online at Amazon and in-store at Walmart for many of the Frozen-inspired party supplies for our themed play date. With the backdrop of the movie set in Arendelle and forced with eternal winter, I chose to go with the beautiful colors of the Ice Palace in blues, white, and silver.

The kids had a great time playing with Frozen toys, did a little Frozen Karaoke and enjoyed a fun craft with snow. Since we live in Central Florida and it would be almost a miracle to see snow here, so we had to improvise!
Frozen Inspired DIY Snowman
The recipe for pretend snow includes (2) 1 lb. boxes of Corn Starch and a can of shaving cream. Mix them together in a tub, and voila – you have snow! We used sticks for his arms, nose, and mouth, and other craft supplies we had on hand for his scarf, buttons, and eyes. It’s a pretty messy craft so I suggest doing it outside or having several pieces of newspaper around the craft area to catch any excess. The kids loved getting messy with this fun craft and creating a snowman!
Frozen Play Date Recipe
I pre-made Rice Krispie Treats, then let the kids use cookie cutters to create fun shapes like stars and snowmen. They spread vanilla icing over top and covered them with Frozen sprinkles to decorate. I added cookie sticks to the Rice Krispie Treats to lessen the stickiness factor for the kiddos.
Our Frozen play date party was a huge success! We hope you enjoy these fun party ideas when planning your own Frozen inspired party!

I haven’t seen it yet. We usually wait for movies to come to satellite TV before we see them. How hard was the clean up for the snow craft? I think I’d like to try it with my grandson if it isn’t too bad.
Jennifer H says
Outside would be best. That way it’s easily washed away. 🙂

So fun! I pinned this to my Disney board! Thanks for sharing.
