The founders of Green Toys Inc. found a gap in the market for quality toys that were safe and green. All of their eat and play products are made of 100% recycled materials. Milk jugs to be exact! Because they use recycled milk jugs they are able to keep production of their products right here in the USA.
We received items from both the eat and play side of the company to review. First up, we had bath time fun with the Green Toys Tugboat:
There’s no end to the Good Green Fun™ young sailors can have with the Green Toys™ Tugboat. This colorful craft floats great, and has a wide spout to scoop and pour water. No BPA, PVC, phthalates or external coatings. Packaged using only recycled and recyclable materials and printed with soy inks.
The kids love playing in the bath. Sometimes it’s hard to get them out of there! I really like that the Tugboat offers two uses: a toy for the kids and the wide spout doubles as an easy way to rinse off the boys. The Tugboat is available in 3 color choices for $14.99, and geared towards kids ages 6 months and up.
The Green Eats Divided Plates are the perfect solution for picky eaters. My oldest is a picky eater and can not stand to have his food touching. I can’t judge though because I am the same way. I blame my dad for passing along that odd trait! 🙂
Green Eats colorful, reusable Divided Plates are ultra-safe and contain no BPA, melamine, or phthalates. Dishwasher safe. Packaged using only recycled and recyclable materials. Each divided plate has a 9 1/2″ diameter.
Green Eats Divided Plates (2 pack) are available in 4 unique colors and available for $12.99.
We are very pleased with both products. They are designed with safety in mind and each of the products we reviewed had a smooth surface. I really like the green aspect of the company, and that it teaches children how recycling can make a difference for our environment and our lives.
There are many other products in the Green Toys line including kitchen play, vehicles, building sets, and more so be sure to check them out! Green Toys wants you to try their products too so they have agreed to a giveaway of the Tugboat water toy!

I think it is great that they are finally realizing all the chemicals that are in everything being made. I truly believe that has something to do with all the diseases and unhealthy things happening to our children.
