Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is one of the most highly anticipated films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film is the perfect send-off for this group of superhero misfits! While this may be goodbye, the third installment of the Guardians is full of heart, action, and comedic relief, and as always an amazing soundtrack. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 Review
About the film: In Marvel Studios’ “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” our beloved band of misfits are settling into life on Knowhere. But it isn’t long before their lives are upended by the echoes of Rocket’s turbulent past.
Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him on a dangerous mission to save Rocket’s life—a mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them. The film stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, featuring Vin Diesel as Groot and Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Sean Gunn, Chukwudi Iwuji, Will Poulter and Maria Bakalova.
The film picks up at their home base of Nowhere when the team is attacked by Adam Warlock. This sets in motion the teams’ final mission where they run into The High Evolutionary, the man behind Rocket Racoon‘s existence.
If you are a Rocket fan, you will love this film! Rocket’s backstory is a big part of the storyline and something the film flashes back to while Guardians is on their mission. It might come across a bit distracting at times, but it fits with the storytelling overall.
Additionally, the movie surrounds the love story of Peter Quill and Gamora, who still is unable to remember the love they previously shared.
Goodbyes are always difficult, but Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 does it right with this band of scrappy superheroes. They really are a family, despite being so unique and different.
