About Hamilton
Hamilton is the story of America’s founding father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and was the new nation’s first treasury secretary. Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway, Hamilton is the story of America then, as told by America now.
With the book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, Hamilton is based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Alexander Hamilton.

With an all-new cast, Hamilton’s on tour production was sensational! The historical components of the show are truly thought-provoking and compel you to want to research the history of our country. I had never known the strong connection between George Washington and Alexander Hamilton was until watching last night’s performance. King George is a riot and the vocals on nearly the entire cast are outstanding! I especially appreciated the vocals of the three Schuyler Sisters – seriously they were incredible!
From start to finish the musical was everything I had hoped for and more. I can’t say enough good things about the show. I was so moved by the vocals I really wanted to stand up and dance! I have to say Joseph Morales had really big shoes to fill and he does an exceptional job! This is the Orlando musical performance of the year – do not miss it!
