Are you excited about the new Star Wars movie? Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in theaters on December 18th which just happens to be my wife and I’s 10th anniversary! The boys and I already have our tickets. Sorry mom – boy’s night out!
Personally, I grew up dreaming about living in a galaxy far, far away. I had one of those Darth Vader toy cases for all of my Star Wars action figures, my favorite being the little Ewok Wicket. Then my mom sold them all at a garage sale…yea I’m still holding that grudge.
Fast forward 28 years and I am just as excited now as I was then to watch the Return of the Jedi for the 100th time. I love that Disney is bringing back the characters that I grew up with. When I saw Hans Solo (Harrison Ford) tell Chewie that it is good to be home I got chills!

My family’s favorite was Loopin’ Chewie. Taken from the classic game Loopin’ Louie, you can help Chewie take out your opponents’ Stormtroopers and the player with the last Stormtrooper standing is the winner. This game is great for the whole family. Even my four-year-old was able to win a round!
Electronic Catch Phrase: STAR WARS edition is sure to settle the debate as to who is the biggest Star Wars fan in the house. This game is suited more for gamers 12 and up, but will surely test your Star Wars knowledge. Plus it is shaped like the Millennium Falcon, how cool is that?!
Put your listening skills to the test with Bop It! STAR WARS R2-D2 Edition. Available exclusively at Walmart, this fast passed memory game will prove who the mightiest Jedi in the house is.
