We love entertaining, but Florida weather can get pretty hot during summer months. That can spoil outdoor dinners pretty quickly. Thankfully we’ve found an amazing solution – the Portacool Cyclone 3200!
Over Memorial Day weekend we hosted a dinner for family. It was in the 90’s most of the day, so we waited until close to sundown to begin our cookout. Since Florida is humid it was still pretty warm out. It was the perfect opportunity to test out our new portable evaporative air cooler. It’s on wheels and very easy to set up. Simply plug it in, attach a lawn hose, flip the pump switch and fan to on, and within minutes you’re cooling down outdoors. I like that it offers two fan levels and is way more powerful than a basic fan. It actually cools up to 700 square feet of space.
The sun sets on our back porch, which is great for watching sunsets, but still leaves it warmer than other areas of our home. Nate fired up the grill and turned the portacool on. Soon he was keeping cooling while grilling up steak skewers and fish.
We turned the portacool towards the dinner table once we were ready to sit down and eat. Everyone stayed cool and comfortable while dining. It was awesome! It was definitely the talk of the table.
Other than using the portacool when dining and grilling outdoors, it can be used to keep kids cool while playing outside, working out in a garage (with regular outside airflow), or even large parties. Our portacool will be heading to a friend’s outdoor wedding in June to help keep guests comfortable while watching the ceremony. I’ll let you know how that works out next month!
In the market for a portable evaporative cooler? Check out the Cyclone 3200 or other portacool options.

This would be great outside on my deck. We don’t get as warm as you here in Washington state, but it does feel quite warm on our back deck in the summer. This is awesome. Thanks!
