Do you suffer from chronic neck or back pain? Maybe you struggle with sleep issues or insomnia. Do you have unwanted cellulite you’d like to get rid of? All of these issues can be triggered by poor circulation. However, there is relief….natural, safe relief with the Pranamat ECO therapeutic massage mat.
More about the Pranamat ECO:
The Pranamat ECO is a massage mat that draws on the proven principles and techniques of acupuncture to give fast, natural and lasting relief from back pain, sciatica, headaches, and much more. The acupressure mat targets both the causes and symptoms of pain in four time-proven ways:
- Deep muscle relaxation
- Stimulating the lymph nodes and circulation of the blood
- Revitalisation of the internal organs
- Endorphin release
I know this acupressure mat may look intimidating, like a bed of nails, but don’t be discouraged. It is safe, natural and clinically proven. By working on the autonomic nervous system, it accelerates the metabolism, stimulates lymph nodes and encourages better circulation of the blood. As a result anti-inflammatory activity is greatly enhanced. It also encourages the release of endorphin – the body’s most powerful natural painkillers.
Acupressure:
Acupressure is an ancient healing art that has been widely and successfully used within many different cultures for thousands of years. It involves applying physical pressure to certain points on the body to improve the circulation and promote a state of enhanced physical and mental health.
Why choose the Pranamat ECO:
The Pranamat ECO is made of 100% environmentally friendly materials, including coconut fiber and pure linen. Although is makes a small impact on the environment, it can make a huge impact in your everyday life. Using the therapeutic massage mat as recommended (as little at 15-20 minutes per day) can provide natural, lasting relief from headaches and migraines, back pain, sciatica, insomnia, fatigue, and even cellulite. The mat is designed by wellness experts and provides an acupressure massage by means of pointed lotus flowers.
How to use the massage mat:
There are a variety of usage programs available on the pranamat website. Each method includes in-depth directions, pictures, and a video. Programs include:
- Sleep
- Headache and back pain relief
- Relaxation
- Energizing
- Stress relief
- Cellulite
I am personally using the mat for relief from cellulite and neck pain. Since I work on the computer often, I find that I hold a lot of tension in my shoulders. Although my husband rocks at massages, he can’t possibly give me one every day. I’ve also noticed an increase in cellulite now that I’ve hit my 30’s. Isn’t growing older fun? 😉 I hope you can sense the sarcasm there.
I have used the Pranamat ECO for several weeks and have found great relief with the massage mat. Per the recommendation in the user guide, I have begun using the mat in the early morning, and with clothes on. To gain the most benefits from the mat, it’s best to use without clothes, however the mat does take a bit of getting used to. Although the lotus flowers are very pointy, they really don’t hurt, as long as you are gentle when getting on and off the mat.
For cellulite, I begin by sitting on the mat (on the floor) with enough space for my upper thighs to be impacted. I lean back with my hands on either side of the mat for approximately 5 minutes. I change positions by sitting up straight for another 5 minutes, then lean forward for additional 5 minutes. Next, I gently lift off the mat and turn my body on its side. Only my butt and thighs are on the petals. I sit on either side for an additional 2-3 minutes. I will admit, sitting on my sides hurts, but I want to get the most impact on removing as much cellulite as possible.
For neck relief, I place the massage mat on my bed with a small portion of it on top of my pillow. I usually lay on it for 15-20 minutes while enjoying spa music on Pandora. After the initial minute or two of minimal pain I begin to relax and get a sense of relief.
Once I’m done, I fold the mat in half and place it back in its carrying case. It’s really simple to use and takes just a bit of motivation to keep up the routine. After using the mat you will notice small red dots from the lotus points on your skin, but those fade within a half hour or so. I’ve also noticed that I can feel the effects sometimes hours after using it.
It’s recommended that you do not eat a heavy meal prior to using the mat. The best time to use it is first thing in the morning, or before bed. It’s also counterproductive to use it after drinking caffeine, and may not be used while pregnant or nursing.
Don’t just take my word for it. Check out Pranamat’s website for results on their 30 day clinical study. Some of the results include 70% of users found back pain completely vanished and 95% had improved sleep!
If you are looking for a natural pain reliever, or help with insomnia or cellulite. I highly recommend investing in the Pranamat ECO.
