First Day of Middle School Funny Printables
You see, J didn’t have the traditional “first day of Kindergarten” experience because he skipped K and went directly to 1st grade at age 5. There was no Boohoo breakfast for first-grade parents, so I cried at home, alone. I was lucky enough to stay home with both boys and school them, which helped them test right into first-grade. So you guessed it – no Boohoo breakfast for my other son either.
J turned 10 years old just a few months ago and hasn’t had his growth spurt yet, so he’ll most likely be the smallest sixth-grader at the school. I know, I know – I’m getting ahead of myself, but isn’t it a parent’s job to worry?
Yea, I’m worrying myself right into a box of hair dye! Speaking of, I might as well call my stylist and set up a regular maintenance job NOW because this is the beginning of the end of my natural brown hair.
See why I need that happy hour? And I know I’m not alone. There are plenty of other moms that understand my pain, right?! That’s why we should have a happy hour for middle school parents. We need to cry it out, give each other pep talks, and then put on our big girl panties because these next three years are going to fly by!
We’ll blink and our kids will be off to high school before we know it. Then we’ll really be done for!

Middle school is definitely a different experience, a lot less contact with the teachers and the kids must take on the responsibility of finishing their work without us checking it twice! 🙂

I love the signs! Middle school is hard so hang on for the roller coaster ride and keep the communication open! Watch the association our good kids are one bad associate from being bad themselves! It can happen over night.
