As parents, we are the first to choose a theme for our child’s nursery. Once children begin to show favoritism towards certain characters they see in movies or television, parents may feel it’s time to update their childs nursery theme with something more age appropriate. As children grow their likes will continue to evolve. Below is an easy solution to changing a child’s bedroom theme without a big cost factor.
Kids Room Ideas
Uncle Milton has a product called Wild Walls that offers several themes for boys and girls, including favorite characters like Spider-Man, The Little Mermaid, and Disney’s Cars. Wild Walls comes with a set of removable wall decals and an FX Activator that easily mounts to the wall. The FX Activator not only offers a cool light effect, but sound too! Hear web slinging sound effects with Spider-Man, or racetrack sound effects with Cars!
It takes minutes to set up and is simple to use for parents and kids. Just press the button to activate the lights, or press it again for light and sound effects. It also has an auto shutoff. It doubles as a great night-light for kids bedrooms too!
Other Wild Walls options include: Puppies, Dinosaurs, Dolphin, Safari, Sharks, Iron Man, Toy Story, and Disney Fairies!
If your son or daughter is into space and science, they might like a Star Planetarium in their bedroom. Stars and constellations are projected on walls and ceilings. The planetarium allows you to set the exact time of year so you can view what you might see in the sky this time of year.
The portability allows for the kids to move the planetarium from room to room to view the stars, planets, and more. It even includes a cosmic nightlight with auto shutoff. It’s a lot of fun, and educational too!
Both of these products are priced under $35, and offer a perfect solution for inexpensive kids room ideas. Be sure to check out their brand new Frozen themed bedroom products too.

That spiderman wall light projector is awesome! We’re in the middle of re-doing our daughter’s room and while she’s not a spider man fan, I kinda wish she’d let me put this up in her room. *lol*

My daughters would love to change their room up. A fresh coat of paint is needed and the Star Planetarium would be a huge hit.

That Spider Man wall is something my son would have flipped over a few years ago. Heck, he probably still would.

How did I escape the themed rooms? I didn’t try or anything, but they never asked. I let them put whatever they wanted all over their walls when they were growing up though. My mom never let me do that, and I wanted my kids to express themselves.

Oh my gosh – my son would love this so much! Best wall art I have seen for a kids room yet. I would actually do the work to have this on his wall. Love it.

We had barely finished my daughter’s room when she asked for a new theme. Kids’ interests can so quickly so it’s great to have inexpensive ways to personalize their space.

My son’s room is currently done in Thomas & Friends. I just asked him if he would like new bedding for Christmas and he told me nope! Maybe soon we can redo his room and try something in Cars to do the Wild Walls.

Oh he would love it. It has sound too! So he would think he’s at the racetrack. It was hard to pick from all the cool designs they offer.

I love the Spiderman set. That would be great for any superhero fan. The projection looks clean and not fuzzy like so many other projectors I have seen.
