Speaking of an awesome kid – this one right here has a heart of gold! I love that he’s not afraid to say what’s on his mind while being sensitive to others’ feelings. He is so smart and friendly too!
Both of my boys are avid readers – spending upwards of one hour each night reading in bed. With my husband being an educator, we made sure to introduce the boys to books at very early ages, and it benefited them greatly in school.
My littlest got his hands on the Diary of an Awesome Friendly Kid book first because he just so happened to be home sick from school the day it arrived. He read several chapters in one sitting and couldn’t wait to tell me about it! With a mix of text and drawings, kids find familiarity with the new series. I love that Rowley exhibits the characteristics of an awesome, friendly kid through his positive outlook, enthusiasm, and kindness.
