This hearty Jalapeno Popper Chili recipe takes roughly 30 minutes to make. Combining chili beans, ground beef, and jalapenos along with a few other tasty ingredients, this recipe is sure to warm you up!
Jalapeno Popper Chili Recipe
We make a large amount of jalapeno popper chili so we can freeze the leftovers for another night. We also love to pair this with a side of yummy cornbread!

Recipe ingredients:
• 2 pounds ground beef
• 1/2 sweet yellow onion diced
• 1 green bell pepper diced
• 1/2 tsp kosher salt
• 1/2 tsp black pepper
• 2 (10 oz) containers mild pico de gallo
• 1 jalapeño, finely diced (seeds and ribs removed for milder chili)
• 3 cans pinto chili beans (with chili pepper, onion & garlic in a tomato sauce) do not drain juice
• 2 Tbsp cumin
• 8 oz cream cheese
Directions:
1. In a large pot, heat on medium, add ground beef, and cook halfway, then add diced onions and bell pepper to the beef. Cook until beef is brown and veggies are softened. Seasoning with salt and pepper.
2. Add pico de gallo, jalapeño, chili beans, and cumin, stir, cover the pan and bring to a simmer. Simmer for about 15 minutes.
3. Add the cream cheese, cover, and simmer again for 15 minutes. Once cream cheese is soft remove lid, and stir in cream cheese until fully mixed. Keep at a low temperature until you are ready to serve.

Recipe Notes
Freeze remaining for another night. Tastes great with warm cornbread.
